About Sedona

The quaint town of Sedona is one of Arizona's foremost tourist destinations, often viewed as a place for leisure, reflection and a getaway from the hustle and bustle of the modern world. Most famous for being the legendary red rock country, this town provides diverse offerings to satisfy everyone - world class resorts, breathtaking scenery, family-run budget motels, excellent shopping, fine dining and an assortment of art galleries. The biggest wonder of the west, the Grand Canyon, is situated at an easy driving distance of about 110 miles from here. Because of it's altitude of about 4,500 feet and it's location in the mouth of the Oak Creek Canyon at the rim of the Colorado plateau, Sedona has been gifted with delightfully mild weather in contrast to the desert heat of Southern Arizona and the snow in Northern Arizona.

The workshop is going to be held at the Hilton Sedona Resort & Spa from May 11-14, 2008. Average high temperatures in the month of May are at a pleasant 82 degrees Fahrenheit and the average lows are at around 49 degrees Fahrenheit.
