LAB ASSIGNMENTS

• The lab assignments are a very important component of this course. The student is advised to pay high importance while working on these labs. Make sure that you work "independently". Late submissions are not entertained. If the student is instructed to submit the lab assignments on a specific day, say Monday, he has to turn it in before 6 PM on Monday. Once again, he is supposed to turn them in by Monday - not Tuesday, not Wednesday.

• The lab reports have to be hard copies only.

• A typical lab report includes

(1) Description of the lab assignment. This includes any challenges or difficulties the student faced during the process of completing the lab work and the amount of hours spent in doing the lab.

(2) Design source code typed out in the exact same format as the lab report template.

(3) Test bench used to test the design, typed out in the exact same format as the lab report template.

(4) Output of the list file.

(5) Print out of the waveforms.

NOTE: The student is advised to work individually while working on these labs. You may take these assignments to your job interview and present them to the interviewers. I mean what I say.
